Our most popular freckle underglaze is a cool white giving the greatest contrast with a fine dark brown speckle. Apply a brush on clear glaze over the underglaze and fire it for a food-safe finish. Underglaze is applied to raw clay or bisque ware. Underglaze fuses to the clay body during firing. Paper clays should be bisque fired to a minimum of 1080℃. prior to application of underglaze. Apply by brushing, sponging or air brush. Layer the colour as one, two, or three coats or use as a watercolour effect. Inter mix the BUG range to get your perfect colour. This underglaze is suitable from 1000-1280℃. Our BUG colours are mixed in our warehouse located in Ingleburn, Sydney.
